Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This policy explains what personal information 1807 LLC ("1807", "we", "us"), a North Carolina limited liability company, collects and how we use it. It covers this website (1807.group), our email, and the invoicing and payment of our consulting services.
What this website collects
This site has no accounts, contact forms, advertising or analytics tools, and it does not set cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and reliability. Fonts and other files are served from this site, not from third parties.
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us. If you are a client or pay us, we also keep the details needed to invoice you and keep our books: name, company, billing address, email address, and records of invoices and payments.
Payments
Payments can be made by bank transfer (ACH or wire) or, where we offer it, by card through Stripe, Inc. Card and bank account details are entered on Stripe's secure pages and are handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number or bank login. We receive a record of the payment, such as the amount, date, payer name and the last digits of the account or card.
How we use information
- To respond to you and deliver the services you have engaged us for.
- To send invoices, receive and reconcile payments, and handle refunds or disputes.
- To meet tax, accounting and legal obligations, and to protect our rights.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed: Stripe (payments), our email and hosting providers, banks and payment networks, and our accountants and legal advisers. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence and business records as long as needed for the purposes above. Tax and accounting records are typically retained for at least seven years.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are legally required to keep. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or a US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have additional rights under those laws, and you can contact us to exercise them. Where we process information of people in the EEA or UK, we rely on our legitimate interest in running our business and on the need to perform contracts and meet legal obligations.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
