Terms of Service

Last updated: October 4, 2026

These terms apply to services provided and invoices issued by 1807 LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("1807", "we", "us"), and to anyone who pays us or uses this website.

Services

1807 provides consulting and advisory services, including operational and organizational transformation, governance and management reporting, strategy execution, product launch and market-entry work, and business planning, investor readiness and launch preparation for early-stage ventures. The scope, fees and timing of each engagement are set out in a written agreement, statement of work, proposal or invoice. If a signed agreement exists, it takes precedence over these terms where the two conflict.

Not professional advice

Our work is business consulting. It is not legal, tax, audit, accounting or investment advice, and we are not acting as your lawyer, auditor or licensed financial adviser. You remain responsible for decisions you make and for obtaining such advice where you need it.

Fees, invoices and payment

Fees are stated on the proposal or invoice. Amounts are in U.S. dollars unless the invoice states another currency. Invoices are due by the date shown on the invoice, or within 30 days of the invoice date if none is shown. You can pay by bank transfer (ACH or wire) using the details on the invoice, or by card through a secure Stripe payment link where we provide one. You are responsible for any bank or intermediary charges on your side, and for taxes that apply to you. We may pause work on an engagement while an invoice is overdue.

Refunds and cancellation

If you think a charge is wrong, please email us before disputing it with your bank or card issuer. We will respond promptly and work to resolve it.

Confidentiality

We treat non-public information you share with us for an engagement as confidential and use it only to deliver the services, unless you agree otherwise in writing or the law requires disclosure. Please do not send us payment card numbers or bank login details by email.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate information and timely access to the people and materials we need. Timelines depend on this.

Intellectual property

Deliverables created for you under an engagement may be used by you for your business once you have paid for them. We keep our pre-existing methods, templates and know-how. Unless we agree otherwise, we may not use your name or logo publicly without your permission.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

We will perform services with reasonable skill and care but do not guarantee particular business, financial or regulatory outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1807 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim.

Website

This website is provided for general information and "as is". Content on it does not create a client relationship.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your location gives you mandatory rights that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with the date above, applies to invoices issued after it is posted.
